Too Much Sugar.

Getting everything right and in proportion is perhaps one of my biggest challenges. I can't ever seem to get an equal measure of things. Either I am elated and full of beans, or as I am now - On a natural sugar rush which makes me feel odd and in a lull.

Natures Path claims there OPTIMUM (cinnamon:blueberry:flaxseed) is high in fibre and omega 3 - did it mention it's riddled with sugar? And added to my soy yoghurt (with naturally dried apricots) I am in a severe need of a black coffee and dark room.

If I can't have a dark room I am happy to have a strong coffee. Or alternatively - I might change this BLOG SITE really into something more constructive, I mean.... I don't have anyone following me really..... For anyone knows I could be crying out for help with my first thing of the day natural sugar overdose. Come on People. SAVE ME!!!

The Hyporcrit Within

As I sit here, I listen to a man who recently decided that it wasn't such 'a wonderful life' and work on a concept that I honestly doubt will ever see the light of day. As a result, it begs me to think WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE????

Its not a question I haven't thought of before, and I am positive that everyone I know has thought exactly the same thing, so it's not a unique or an exceptional question; what it is in actual fact is a kick up the arse.
I am dying of creative bordem. I am in fact being quite spoilt and my curl is twisting on my forehead, but I mean... I am not doing the creative things I want to do. Who's fault is it? Well, mine of course. It's my own insecurities that have lead me down a path of a corporate freeway, only once indicating off and it ended in a horrendous collison of opinion. So where does this leave me? I suppose I could do something out of the Monday to Friday 8/5:30 - But everyone says that and how many do?

It's all to distracting and I feel like a complete fraud. A hyporcrit. How can I instruct designers, if I havent developed my own inner creative giant?

Hungry Tiger

It's really not like me to give 2 thoughts to Paris Hilton, for obvious reasons, but as it stands she has coined a new descriptive term that I have begun using of late and that is "HUNGRY TIGER". Paris's definition refers to someone whom wants to be her friend etc because they want to be famous... My definition revolves around people in the work place/personal life whom seem hell bent on crawling the ladder of "success". To be successful isn't having a monopoly, nor is success having all the information... Nor is it grassing on your work colleagues to elevate yourself to a higher plank (which I'd gladly like to see these people walk off!)... The lust of being within an inner circle is exhausting and if I am honest, not my personal bag... and I really couldn't give a shit if these Hungry Tigers are on a mission, its just if I am caught in the cross fire and left with charred remains that I become sullen, annoyed and "blogful".

sigh*

White Noise

I have been spending the evenings of late hoping that the static noise I hear will disappear and normality will settle back in. Oh goodness. Music never sounds too loud if you are 1. really enjoying it 2. really drunk and then 3. both really enjoying it and really drunk.

My liver is now in recuperation and the thought of any more makes me wince. I have to overcome this as Saturday is Halloween and a fantastic costume has been acquired. Complete with hat and glittered collar. For some untold reason I am already planning to only drink champagne (cava) and be giggling mess of gore and zombie. I haven't stretched the funds for the white contact lenses, but definitely the coagulated blood has cost Sarah and I a pretty penny. Worth it.

I think regarding the evening's noise intake, hushed whispers are not going to be on the menu, so I might actually pop into the site supplier and grab some ear plugs!.... I just don't think the ferns in my ears have actually recovered. A toast is extended to the 2 bands that contributed to my fuzzy white head, being HEIRS and THE NIGHT TERRORS. Who would have thought intensely delivered instrumental music could have engaged me to the point of not caring...

The Night Terrors continue their European Tour and return for a gig at Scala on Friday the 13th of November. www.thenightterrors.com

Not entirely sure what this is all about as yet!!

Greetings from another day of semi grey skies and coffee machines that cease to work. I stated to think what this  whole blog thing really is about - no one actually see's it so it's pretty much autonomous... but having just become a follower of  DHY and Manflet I suppose this is not really the case anymore.

Should I source pretty things like bags and shoes?... Write a piece on Panda's and they're habit for eating rats? I could easily post some of my email conversations because I end up thinking they can be pretty hysterical. hmmmmm I might start by adding some bits & bobs of my illustrations etc... there isn't a great deal left remaining in my possession but it could be worth it..... nor do I think Chanel would think it was worth it to change their window display to advertise Telstra.... but then, who gives a shit!

Having spent most of today in flux, I had a great email from somebody who actually seemed to make me feel so much better. Not even a sea of salty water can get in the way... which is of course a comfort to know. It's all because of Mercury and I have to wait it seems until the 18th of October to sort it'self out. I don't think I am that patient because everyday it seems there is some new issue. Insert *sigh* .

On a completely different note, I have loads of inspiration for bits and pieces that are racing through my head, but for this particular entry I'll opted for a bed, ice cream and a good book (realistically 4OD)...

Needing a New Nest

Generally (she says she's broken...poor Susan) I need a new abode every year or less. It has nothing to do with the notion of not being able to settle or any commitment problems, but more with locality and how I feel in a particular place. In this instance, a new home is required because commuting is not something I wish to continue doing at great length & most honestly I am making somewhat of a committment to a personal sitsuation. So there goes it - a new place to call my/our own is required.

I have such an issue with space or there lack of it (metophorically and spatially) that I really would prefer something HUGE and grand... this is not an option on my current wage... so it will have to wait when I am in my semi 50's.. Bring on my Rathdown Terrace....

I once wrote an essay at RMIT "What makes a house a home"... I think the last sentence was " A house is where you throw your hat on the floor - a home is wear you hang it"... So I'd like to get myself a coat/hat rack soon as possible.

To all the people I have lived with, some approx 40 or so.... thank you for being patient with me.....
